Because all of us artists need to pretend we're nice and respectful to idiots who deserve to have their head slammed against the wall.
No! I won't draw anything for you, be your friend, trade with you (if my trades are closed) etc.
Artists aren't some free drawing machines. If you think that every art trade I have will be an animated icon, no. When I was trading with blueshinewolf she expected me to fully animate her an avatar in exchange for a static one. Unfair? Hell yeah! Then a few random people wanted me to animate an avatar for them...for free. Do they even know how hard it is to draw like that? How much time I spend working on those animations? And if my requests are closed FOREVER why do they think I'll animate anything on request? Maybe because their request doesn't have the word "request" in it?
And in real life I'm constantly asked to draw for people. Do they think that simply because they know an artist I'll draw them anything they want? And some even call me evil for not giving away my drawings which mean so much to me.
So, not only my watchers but all people who see this:
1. Check if the artist is doing requests (Also, if the artist opened commissions to gain money for its art then what are the chanced he or she will make a total stranger something for free?)
2. Stop begging if they don't
3. Stop being so selfish expecting you'll get a masterpiece in exchange for lesser quality.
In short: STOP TREATING ARTISTS AS ART SLAVES!

I know this will give me bad reputation but I'm really sick of all those people harassing us artists with their irrational requests.
