Contest entry. Details
My sister has a small dreamcatcher hanging above her bed.
Please try to ignore the horrible anatomy, especially the hands. They were redrawn god knows how many times. I'm so disappointed with the anatomy, that probably wouldn't happen if I had a scaner.
I paid special attention to details, since the whole point of the contest is to draw the character in Native American clothing. I had to do a lot of research for the details.
My third try with fur, no reference, no tutorial. I had the most fun drawing the fur. Bad dreamcatcher angle. Oh well.
I must say I expected more from this but I'm still happy with the result.

Thanks! I've been researching and drawing for a whole month. I had a sketch for another picture (your gray wolf) but I have no time to finish it anymore.

P.S. Did you notice he only had four fingers? By the time I realized the mistake I was already close to finishing the picture.

come now. we all know that the best way to get rid of the nightmares native american style is the "Tomahawk"! Tomahawk as the axe and not Tomahawk the missile. lol!

Still I like the idea behind this. Nice!

More or less. Theoretically, I've been working on this for a whole month (I started it on 5th of July), but I didn't work on it my whole time. I've been on a vacation for 6 days and I'd often forget about it (especially after I came back from my vacation) or I'd just finish one detail in one day. I spent most of the time correcting the mistakes, especially those damn hands. And I also drew 2 watercolor pictures and a whole DS9 cast as wolves (lol that one literally took me whole night) and 7 pages of my comic while I was drawing this.

This doesn't mean I haven't been working hard on this. I would sometimes spend 5 hours drawing and finishing the details. Maybe I'll make a short deviation about how I made it. I saved most of the changes under different filenames.
