I love drawing samurai ever since I've read a short article about them a few years back. Now I know pretty much everything I can find about them (this also made me learn a bit of Japanese).
I'm really fond of the colors here, I was going for a black look but then I added blue and yellow along the way.
I think this is one of the best samurai armors I've ever drawn (but not one of the most detailed ones) and I love how the waistcoat turned out :heart:. Though the tessen's perspective is sooo off :doh:.
The bear here is one of my characters, most of the time I draw him in a kimono but I think he looks a lot more tough and sinister in an armor :D. Though if I gave him a kabuto god knows if anyone would see a polar bear up there.

I used bit of colored pencils for the face, the rest is done by markers (though I didn't have a yellow marker :shakefist:)

Wow Keaze, this is definitely genious! The armor and the pose are so perfect, and the expression is pure win! Nice work, like it lots :D

really good work on the armor, great work on that. the porlar bear though i think could use a little bit of work(but what do i know>.> im not good at drawing at all <.<;) love the facial expression though. again great job^^

Ok, I did a TON or reaserch on this becuase it bothers me that they are dying. What is happening is the ice caps are melting and it's getting too hot for them. It's happening too fast so they can't adjust to the change and it's killing them. The only way o save them is one of two things. 1- We stop all technology. No more cars, facotries, anything. That will never happen. The only other way to save them is zoos. They are bring some from the wild into zoos becuase they can make provide them with cold air and water. It's sad but soon they will be like the panda, only able to really be in zoos. :(

I really hope they won't become extinct (though chances for that aren't very high), they're one of my favorite animals. It's sad when a whole species is destroyed, especially because of humans
