Sunbath and Sunshadeby ~Keaze

The palm people are rather slow creatures. They enjoy sunbathing and tend to attract people because of their shades, much to their dismay as they prefer silence during their favorite pastime. They are pretty friendly otherwise, but they can get insulted when confused for regular trees.
Despite popular, yet outdated belief, the palm people are not adult coconuts. However, they are both aware of their ancestry and tend to see each other in a friendly, almost brotherly manner. Despite this, the coconut people also seem to regard them as “poor, confused and dull creatures in need of protection” and see themselves as their guardians. The palm people are of the same opinion about them.

I wanted to paint the palm people ever since I did those anthro coconuts. So have some tropical atmosphere for cold winter days.

Sunce i hlad

Palmaši su dosta spora I opuštena stvorenja. Vole se sunčati ali često znaju privući ljude zbog svoje sjene. To im zna smetati jer im je u to vrijeme draži mir i tišina. Inače su dosta prijateljski, dok god ih se ne zamijeni za obično drvo, što je za njih uvreda.
Unatoč raširenom, ali zastarjelom uvjerenju, palmaši nisu odrasli kokosovci. Doduše, kokosovci I palmaši znaju za svoje slične korijene I vide jedni druge u prijateljskom, čak I bratskom svjetlu. Ipak, izgleda da ih kokosovci na neki način vide kao “jadna, zbunjena I pomalo priglupa stvorenja koja trebaju nekoga da ih čuva” i vide se kao njihovi zaštitnici. Palmaši dijele to mišljenje, ali sa zamijenjenim ulogama.

Evo malo tropskog ugođaja za hladne, zimske dane. Samo sam htjela izgovor da naslikam palmaše.
